foobar2000 is a powerful and flexible music player with a unique modular design and a raft of hidden features. Its
primary function is media management, and it specializes in ripping and
converting CDs – copying tracks your discs for you, tagging them
automatically and keeping everything neatly organised in an efficient
media library - but to be think this is dismissive of the program is to
do it a disservice. It might 'only' be a music conversion and playback
tool, but it's incredibly well designed and adaptable
Plugins
An open-source lyrics plugin for foobar2000 that includes its own UI panel for displaying and sources for downloading lyrics that are not available locally. It is intended to be a replacement for LyricShowPanel3 so it is fully-featured and supports lyric searching, saving and editing directly from within foobar2000.

Foobar2000:Preview
Foobar2000 plugin to enable preview listening.
After installation you can change the settings under "Playback > Preview" in the Preferences window.
To initiate Preview Mode, click on "Preview Mode" in the "Playback" menu. Preview mode can also bound to a keyboard shortcut.
There's a couple ways to do this but I've found this to be pretty reliable.
Library > search
type '%path% PRESENT'
Click the button with the ellipsis (bottom right I think?) and click 'Create autoplaylist'
That playlist will update anytime something is added or deleted to the folder foobar is monitoring.
